This year Bedminster Elementary’s PTG will be hosting its fifteenth annual Race for Education.
Race For Education is a FUN day for students and faculty. The students may walk/jog around a 1/4 mile track as many times as they are able for one hour to raise money for their school. It’s an exciting day filled with music, exercise, and pig races. For the weeks leading up to the Race For Education, students ask friends and family to sponsor them via donations to raise funds for the school.
The funds raised from the Race allow the PTG to provide the following to students and staff:
- Field Trips
- Classroom/Curriculum Support
- Family Events & Hospitality
- And More
Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation. Students will have an opportunity to earn prizes and awards based on their participation. Family and friends are invited to come to the Race For Education to cheer on the students and help support our school!
9:00 - 10:00 AM - AM Kindergarten, DVK, and Grade 3
10:15 - 11:15 AM - Grades 4 and 5
1:00 - 2:30 PM - Grades 1, 2, and PM Kindergarten
We are accepting donations this year using online credit card payments, cash, or check. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit our school! In addition, many companies have gift matching programs where they match donations to organizations. If your employer has this program in place, please consider requesting that your donation be matched.
